About the SSA Youth League

The SSA Youth League provides a recreational soccer program for the youth soccer player who wants to have fun and develop skills. The Youth League is dedicated to providing a quality recreational youth soccer program that facilitates personal and athletic development for players in a safe, positive, and supportive environment. All boys and girls between the ages of 4 and 17 as of the registration deadline are eligible to play. The Youth League is solely sponsored by the Sandpoint Soccer Association.
Summer Camp
Strikers and SSA Present Summer Soccer
Camps on July 28 – August 1!

General Information:
Strikers and SSA will sponsor soccer camps in Sandpoint on July 28 – August 1! All camp sessions will be at Farmin-Stidwell Elementary School. Players between the ages of 5 and 14 are eligible to participate in the camps. The primary goal of the camps will be to improve players’ technical and tactical abilities in a fun learning environment.

Camps will be directed by Ben Twigg, the SSA Director. Ben will be assisted by qualified, experienced coaches.

Daily Camp Schedules:
  • Recreational Camp (players 5-8, players 9 and older who plan to participate in the Youth League this fall): 9-11 am.
  •  Competitive Camp (players 9 and older who plan to participate in Strikers this fall): 1-4 pm.

Schedules are subject to change. Changes will be announced via e-mail and on the SSA phone line (263-9116) recording.

What to Bring:


Players should bring a soccer ball, shin guards, cleats, water, appropriate attire, and a great attitude to each camp session!

Registration:


The registration fee for the recreational camp is $75. The registration fee for the competitive camp is $100. Scholarships for both camps are available upon request. The registration fee for each camp includes a camp soccer ball. Space in each age group may be limited. Players will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.

To register, please provide the information requested and mail with payment to SSA/Strikers Camp Registration, PO Box 70, Ponderay, ID 83852. Players may also register on-site (a late fee of $25 applies to on-site registration).
