Tryouts:
- Fall season
- Boys and girls who are at least 9 and not older than 13 on August 1 may try out.
- All interested players, including returning Strikers players, need to try out.
- Spring season
- Boys and girls who are at least 9 and not older than 17 on August 1 may try out.
- Only players who did not play for Strikers during the fall season need to try out.
- A $75 tryout fee is due by tryouts. For any player who is selected to a Strikers team, the tryout fee is non-refundable and will be applied toward the player’s registration fee. For players who are not selected to a Strikers team, the tryout fee will be automatically refunded.
- Total registration fees vary by age group as follows:
- U10-12: $225
- U13-14: $250
- U15 and older: $275
- Strikers offers a discount to families registering more than one player. The full registration fee applies to the first child, but each additional child receives a $25 discount.
- Players are encouraged to submit the entire registration fee prior to/at tryouts. Players who do not submit the entire registration fee prior to/at tryouts must submit the remainder of their fee by August 1 for the fall season or February 1 for the spring season.
- We do not want money to be an obstacle! Scholarships are available. Players with financial need should submit a scholarship request in lieu of the tryout/registration fee.
- Players/families may incur other expenses related to uniforms, travel, etc.
How to Register:
Players may submit registration materials by mail or at tryouts. Players must submit registration paperwork and the tryout fee or a scholarship request before they are eligible to try out. For players that do not need to try out, registration materials are due by November 15 for the spring season or June 15 for the spring season.

New players must submit the following:

- Tryout fee or scholarship request
- Copy of birth certificate

Other Information:
Strikers teams generally practice 2-3 times per week. League play for the fall season usually begins in early September and ends in late October. League play for the spring season usually begins in early April and ends in late May. League games are typically on Saturdays (with occasional weekday or Sunday games). U10-12 teams play 8 v. 8, as recommended by US Youth Soccer and Idaho Youth Soccer. U13 and older teams play 11 v. 11. Teams generally participate in the Northwest League. Teams may attend local/regional tournaments.
