Sandpoint Strikers has been providing competitve soccer programs for over 30 years. Strikers provides a competitive soccer program for the committed and skilled youth soccer player. Strikers is dedicated to providing a quality competitive youth soccer program that facilitates personal and athletic development for players in a safe, positive, and supportive environment. U10 and older boys and girls are eligible to try out for Strikers teams. Strikers teams compete in the IYSA Northwest League and travel to tournaments throughout the Northwest. Strikers is proudly affiliated with the Idaho Youth Soccer Association, US Youth Soccer Association, and US Soccer Federation. |
Strikers teams generally practice 2-3 times per week. League play for the fall season usually begins in early September and ends in late October. League play for the spring season usually begins in early April and ends in late May. League games are typically on Saturdays (with occasional weekday or Sunday games). U10 teams play 8 v. 8, as recommended by US Youth Soccer and Idaho Youth Soccer. U11 - U12 teams play 9 v. 9, and U13 and older teams play 11 v. 11. Teams generally participate in the Northwest League. Teams may attend local/regional tournaments.
