Coaches/Directors,I am anxious to get the spring season underway, though I am not holding my breath….There will be a couple Coaching Courses offered here and in Spokane in the coming months. We encourage all of you to pursue the licensing. The courses offer many insights and ideas to much of what you will experience in training and games. Additionally it is a great way to meet and network with area coaches. At the last course there were 20 coaches from MT/ID/WA/OR. What a great environment.D LicenseApril 7-9, 2017Jun 17-19, 2017Coeur d’ Alene, ID
USSF National "D" License is held over two weekends, at least two months apart.
The "D" License course has four phases: PREPARATION PHASE(which starts as soon as you register for the course so the sooner you register the longer you will have to complete assignments such as the first Deliberate Practice Sessions), INSTRUCTIONAL PHASE (the first in-person phase held the weekend of April 7-9 with classroom sessions), DELIBERATE PRACTICE PHASE (the time period between the two in-person phases when the second set of Deliberate Practice Sessions will be completed), and the PERFORMANCE PHASE (the second in-person phase held June 16-17).
Typically each weekday will begin at 5:30pm and end at 9:30pm, with Saturday/Sunday running from 9am-5pm. Tuition for the course is $225, which includes the entire course (all 4 phases) and use of the DCC lesson planning tools.
Candidates MUST hold the USSF "E" License for six months before the start date of the Instructional Phase.NOTE: If the DCC will not allow you to register because you have not held the "E" License for at least six months but the "D" License course will not start until that six months is complete then please contact Skyler Bell at firstname.lastname@example.org.
There is extensive homework that must be completed no later that one week before the first night of the course. You will complete each assignment within the DCC and will receive your evaluation through the DCC.
If the course does not reach a minimum amount of candidates the course will be cancelled and money refunded. If you register and pay, refunds may be requested if you need to withdraw.
Please address any questions to Skyler Bell at email@example.com.D LicenseJun 9-11, 2017Dec 1-3, 2017Spokane, WA
